The target protein is expressed with sequence (Gln21-Asn198) of rat Lipocalin-2/NGAL (Accession #NP_570097.1.) fused with a 6×His tag at the C-terminus. Bio-Activity Measured by its ability to bind Iron(III) dihydroxybenzoic acid [Fe(DHBA)3]. The binding of Fe(DHBA)3 results in the quenching of Trp fluorescence in Lipocalin2 . It binds >51330 μM of Fe(DHBA)3. Purity > 95% by SDS-PAGE. Endotoxin < 0.1 EU/μg of the protein by LAL method.
